Health Care for You and Your Family
All Kids
The Governor's All Kids program has made Illinois the first state in the nation
to offer affordable and comprehensive healthcare coverage to all Illinois children,
regardless of income.
As a parent, you know nothing is more important than your children's
health. That's why All Kids covers doctor's visits,
hospital stays, prescription drugs, vision care,
dental care and medical devices like eyeglasses and asthma inhalers.
Parents pay monthly premiums for the coverage, according to their income.
To find out more, or fill out an application, call the All Kids Hotline
at 1-866-ALL-KIDS (1-866-255-5437) TTY: 1-877-204-1012, or visit www.allkidscovered.com.
FamilyCare
FamilyCare offers healthcare coverage to parents living with their children
18 years old or younger. FamilyCare also covers relatives who are caring
for children in place of their parents. Like All Kids, FamilyCare covers
doctor visits, dental care, specialty medical services, hospital care,
emergency services, prescription drugs and more.
Parents can get FamilyCare if they live in Illinois and meet the FamilyCare
income limits. The program is available to U.S. citizens, or immigrants
under certain immigration requirements. All Kids or FamilyCare health
benefits will not affect your immigration status unless you receive
services in a nursing home or mental health facility.
To find out more information about the program, call the FamilyCare information
line at 1-866-255-5437 or TTY: 1-877-204-1012,
